I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Board Approved Clinical Supervisor as credentialed by the Louisiana, Kentucky, Arizona, and Tennessee Board of Social Work Examiners. I am a certified Triple P Positive Parenting Program Provider. I have significant proficiency in working with Geriatrics, Veterans, Individuals with Developmental Disabilities, Chronic Homelessness, Individuals, Families, Chronic Mental Illness, and Cognitive therapy. My vast knowledge of clinical approaches and interventions has allowed me the opportunity to become a change agent in the lives of individuals requesting assistance with making life transitions. My focus consists of providing evidenced based practices that will impact families significantly and provide long term positive changes.  I specialize in Grief counseling, Adolescent/Child Treatment, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Behavior Modification Strategies.  My extensive knowledge of mindfulness techniques, and  REBT/CBT interventions will assist you with making optimal life transformations!

As a lifelong resident of Louisiana with strong family ties in the River Parishes, I have always been committed to helping my community.  I began my education at the University of New Orleans where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.  I received my Master of Social Work degree from the prestigious Tulane School of Social Work.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor as designated by the Louisiana Board of Social Work Examiners.  I am a certified Triple P Positive Parenting Program Provider.I have over thirteen years of experience working in the social service field in areas of mental health, sexual abuse, domestic violence, geriatrics and case management.  My practice settings have included hospitals, non-profits and community health centers.  I believe in a Client-Centered approach to therapy and utilize Cognitive Behavioral and Mindful techniques.  I take evidence-based approaches and present them in creative ways to keep clients engaged.  As part of my generalist practice, I have extensive experience in Play Therapy with children and adolescents, treatment of Anxiety and Depression, end of life therapy, and treatment with survivors of abuse.
